Aim
Few years from now there will be a breakthrough in display technologies for large scale applications and consumer electronics as well. New technologies with new capabilities will extend the range of applications for digital displays.
Objectives
The objective of this course is to develop fictional scenarios for future applications of new display technologies and to learn about how small innovations in basic technology can create a large amount of design innovations.
Outcome
Students developed design scenarios and fictional concepts for new designs. Students learned how to approach an unknown knowledge domain systematically.
