Aim
The goal of this seminar is to examine sound as a domain for design.
Objectives
Participants in the course were supposed to engage in experimental work with sound and conduct research in topics like interactive music, audiovisual rhetorics, visual sound, resonifictaion, history of sound design, film sound, sound in computer games, etc.
Outcome
Students developed acoustic experiments (e.g. audio jokes that do not use language), recontextualized movie trailers and created a number of research presentations to different topics within the scope of the seminar.
