Summer semester 2009
Aachen University of Applied Sciences
12 Weeks (with 12-18 hrs/week)
This seminar explored the topic of acceleration of daily life. By discussing phenomenon that are regarded as “too fast” and those that are said to be “too slow” participants gained insights about the very nature of “designing for speed/slowness”.
Students were supposed to create an original design work that reflects own particular ideas and opinions about the general subject.
This seminar allowed students to work in very different directions. Results ranged from filmed documentary, information graphics, educational material, magazines, iPhone application concepts, field research and interactive installations.
